Not hating on Pimax, but from my experience, I quite like the Oculus product.

A pure speculation article and one that is factually wrong in some places, Oculus Rift 2 and Project Santa Cruz are most definitely not the same product. It makes me think the author did not even bother to watch the Oculus Connect 4 keynote address.

In many ways Santa Cruz is an all in one mobile embedded device with tracked controllers, aimed at the iPhone crowd, who will never own a Samsung phone or consider GearVR. Think of it as the top end of the mobile powered VR devices.

Yea , just more fake news . Irrespective, I do expect some changes to the Rift in late 2018.

I agree @SeatTime, I expect Oculus Connect 5, so around this time next year, is more like the time frame for Oculus to start talking about and perhaps demoing Rift CV2.
