    Most games work but the few that require you to copy the wow64 dll wouldn't patch properly or pick up the data from Eve and Elite until I reinstalled simtools to it's standard directory (I had it in C:/ProgramFiles/Simtools2.1)

    So, a frustrating hour or so but it seems ok now.

    Yes been a problem that I had honestly forgot about

    @yobuddy is there any chance you could incorporate the GetBaseAddress.dll and wow64.dll in the next update to Simtools so they get installed at the same time ?

    No one would have a problem with the dll's not being in the correct place for the 64bit memory hooked plugins :)

    The wow64 file gets installed, but it's 42k or so, the Elite replacement is only 9k so that's also an anomaly....

    @SilentChill ,
    That would make it easier for sure.
    Where does the files (GetBaseAddress.dll and wow64.dll ) come from.
    I just need to check their licenses to make sure I can include them in the next release.

    wow64ext.dll is already included, is that different from wow64.dll?

    My guess is the path is hard coded in the plugin itself.

    For future plugin writers, when installing SimTools, it creates a Path.ini file in this folder.
    "C:\Users\(you user folder)\AppData\Local\SimTools"
    This way any app can get the location of SimTools when needed.

    So we just need GetBaseAddress.dll added I think.
    Can you think of anything else that needs added?
    It there also a 64 bit version of GetBaseAddress?

    Getbaseaddress is only needed because of non-64bit app. There's no need for a 64 bit dll by definition ;)
