    Hi there,

the old forum and website is successfully moved from x-simulator.de to the new more international domain xsimulator.net.

Your old user credentials username and password are still valid.
For a quick test please reply here, so i see if you are successful with your login data.

The relaunch is not finished yet. It is still in progress but you are already able to use most parts of the page.

Hope you like the new approach.

I do not see it either, but I am grudgingly allowing Raceray to get some sleep before he bothers with it, lol :D

Well done my friend, the new site looks great!

Yep, I have now access to the SimTools sub-forums again.

I'm still fascinated how you converted all the stuff over into the new forum including many details and no links broken :)

Thanks value1 ...that was hard work, because for testing i wrote the redirect script (for apache webserver) and after moving the whole content i noticed that the script was not working with the Nginx webserver i use for the new website. Had to rewrite everything from sketch and the time was running against me, because google does not like it when its not able to reach the old urls lol Very bad for good rankings:)

    Nice looking site.

Would suggest slowing the scrolling bits at the top of the page down a tad - I can read quickly but not much of a speed reader :p

Ooooh this is a bought forum? Looks like the same format / style as the b4A forum.

The new forum can be used from the smartphone much easier than the old forum. Very nice indeed!

@aarondc Slowing down the scrolling? Mhh not sure what you mean. Scrolling speed is a adjustment defined by your OS not the website itself.

Yes its a purchased forum, same as b4a uses.
XenForo based on the Zend2 framework, completely OOP and the developers are doing a really good job so that the system is very easy to extend.

At the top of the page, there are 3 scrolling messages, one after the other. One says:

It does not display long enough for me to read it, let alone click a link.

I do not think it has anything to do with my OS.

But best of all, I do not have to log in every time I visit the site to post. So it's WIN WIN WIN as far as I am concerned.

I had that same issue once Aaron, unfortunately I do not remember what the fix was. It was indeed my browser though. Sorry for being so vague.

Should be readable for 10seconds now. Scrolling changed to vertical and animation speed increased to 8ms. Looks much nicer now. Thanks for the clue!
