Question New to Motion rigs-advice on dof reality vs other types for flight simulation?

I initially was just going to go with the H3 with the updated sfu motors with the potential to expand to full 6dof later, though having the 3 axes plus the butt kicker seemed adequate. Vr flight sim guy raves about his H2 and calls it realistic vs real flying.. while others in other channels seem to say its just g force simulation and not realistic.

I dont have tons of cash to pump out, but was willing to cut it around the $3200 shipped mark. Im also 6'6 so i dont know how dof reality will fit my frame. I have the honeycomb alpha/bravo, and mfg pedals.. i may want to find a way to have a stick mixed in there too (all i have now is a sidewinder), for jets/helos

What is the general consensus when it comes to msfs flight sims and motion rigs (actuators vs others)? I also dont have a ton of time to do massive builds.. im in a limited office space of 12x10 for now, going to put this in a 3x5 section/corner of the room and use the varjo aero (no lcd on the unit, lcds are going to be some feet away).

Im also unclear on what the cheapest yet best seat i can get would be, which would support arm rests, which would be useful for doing attachments for keyboard/hotas at some point etc.

    Any help is appreciated

My view is that 'cheap' and 'best' tend to be somewhat mutually exclusionary.

With respect to motion and VR I think most here, given our interest, would suggest a motion rig compliments VR. That motion rigs are also used in some aspects of flight training, and the likes of F1, suggest motion is complimentary.

Is motion simulation the same as IRL, NO, the point of motion simulation, given the practical constraints of axis range and associated g-force, is not to recreate reality, but rather exploit psychological and physiological processing weaknesses to have your brain accept as real what it knows is not.

DOFreality is at the budget end of the scale, AASD15A servo powered actuator rigs will give greater precision, speed and load carrying capacity, but at a cost.
