Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and I have been guided here by google search.

I race in rfactor and I am currently working on a DIY formula wheel. Originally I was only going to make a wheel to replace my Logitech G27 and add some buttons to it but I wish to intregrate a dash into the wheel.

So far I have purcahsed an Arduino Uno and a TM1638 board and followed some basic instructions on how to get it to work with rfactor. I have been successful in this but it only provides speed and gear indicator and rev lights as well as a fuel level.

The TM1638 board contains 8 push buttons to change information and that is where I am stuck. I have no programming knowledge and I am completely new this the concept of circuit boards.

I hope for some guidance on this project, is anyone able to help?

    Thanks in advance,

    Peter

Below is where I am up to. The wheel is currently WIP as I have not machined the cut out for the circuitboard
