Yes its coming to SimTools we already use an UNO hooked to a TM1638, the app is nearly complete, ie testing going very well, My original Arduino code will work on any Arduino compatible board.
And as SimTools goes public this code and information will be public too.

So I'm planning a tachometer BMW E36 complete with all consumption to control lights currently.
And two additional instruments (oil pressure, boost pressure)
A part of the code I have already gotten together.

Well you are half way there if you can drive the tacho via the ard and turn the lights on and off, from there we can then use the Dash App that coming to sync the data from game to the Ard, actually that's the easy part with the new app that Yobuddy is working on. I have tested it for him and its quite easy for a user to set values and scripts with little programming knowledge.

The app is not available for download at the moment we need to finalize the release of SimTools as I have said above, then we can step back to the app and do final bug tests. But this is close.
At this time there is only a few games like Race07, Gtr 1 & 2, Rfactor series and LFS that we have run tests on all have worked so far. But delayed because of SimTools public release. Sorry.

We can wait. I'm already gathering part, to make a little "racing cell" with an authentic BMW E36 interior and of course gauge. I already managed to get the speedometer loght on/off, but I guess I have to wait for this app and SimTools public release then..
    Can't wait!

    That's great to hear.
I was just looking for some info regarding TM1638 and SimTool compability, as you maybe remember from other forum, I did some solution for TM to change data with buttons, but never got time to exchange codes with you to test.

Anyway, I'll be waiting for SimTools app and your code as you said :)

Have got new code and SimTools working fine with control of the eight buttons to an external button box. (not shown in vid)

Even helped another member in beta to produce this , i did the software side he built the elctronics and modified the ard code to suit the steppers in the dashboard.
