    Hi all,
I am Hoan from VNM Simulation, After VNM wheelbase force feedback firmware, I am developing a open motion controller firmware. Some features:
    - control 8 servos simutanously.
    - pulse frequency 125khz per each servo that enough with current servo which most people use 2500ppr and 3000 rpm
    - Software interface intergrated with current VNM config
    - you can buy a cheap development kit ~ 13$ to use
    - use with FlyPT Mover
Here is my channels to discuss :)!

    Hi Hoantv!
I dont understand exactly what your firmare is made for. Lot of us have the following configuraton:
Game -> Simtools or mover-interface -> controller like Thanos or Odrive-> motors for actuators.
For force-feedback wheels and similar equipment, we have little different configuration:
Game -> force-feedback controller -> motor driver -> motor for dd-wheel or so.

Could you pls. explain, where to use your firmware? Is it something similar like the Thanos? Which hardware could we use then?
Maybe you could make a scetch of the whole configuration?

    Thanks a lot!
    Wickie

The same flow as you know: game -> mover-interface software-> motion controller -> motor controller -> servo/motor.
My firmware is for motion controller. I tested with STM32F401 and this board will be use for DIY

HI. Hoantv! Can I test your developed motion controller firmware?

I have just released VNM motion controller firmware with its manual.
    - STM32F401RCT microcontroller with 25 MHz crystal
    - Supports up to 8 actuators
    - Supports up to 250 kHz PWM frequency with <= 6 actuators and 200 kHz with <= 8 actuators
    - Input for soft Emergency stop, Servo ready, Torque reach (stroke limit detection)
    - Can be used with some motion softwares like FlyPt Mover, Simtools or similar which support configurable string output.
With this firmware you can make your motion controller from 50-> 100 usd.
    pls check it here https://github.com/vnmsimulation/VNM_MOTION_CONTROLLER

    Release V1.0.3.0
    - STM32F401RCT microcontroller with 25 MHz crystal
    - Supports up to 9 actuators.
    - Supports up to 500 kHz pulse frequency.
    - Generates exactly the number of pulses that a servo driver needs to rotate one round.
    - Filtering for smooth movement.
    - Support belt tensioners without feature on motion software (on development).
    - Loop time is 1ms
    - Can be used with some motion software like FlyPt Mover, Simtools, Sim-motion software or similar which support configurable string output.

Check out the provided links to the GitHub pages to see if you are interested in the wheel or controller aspects.

@Hoantv's comment about listing the controller on GitHub seems to be some of the most recent activity. That said the motion controller aspect is pretty new and @Hoantv is trying to share the possibility for use. I am not aware of anyone taking that up yet for the motion controller, but there is past activity and some old issues identified with respect to DD wheels.

@Hoantv Any info on how to get it running with a dev board?

    Watching with interest.

We will need to await further advice from @Hoantv, the code is available via Github, but we will need to find out if a tutorial has been done, as I am not aware of a member trying this out yet. @Hoantv has not been around for a few weeks so you may need to be a little patient, as I expect he will respond when he can.
