    the new gtx1080 coming soon so don't buy a new card atm just wait the power is mega and the pricing is amazing launch for gtx1080 which is like 2x gtx980 it suggested price from nvidea is $599
    they have a gtx1070 aswell abit cheaper too but will still wipe out the the top cards so why would you buy a card now when it not long i think june.

    i was advised to wait a month or so ago. will be keeping an eye on on the new cards and prices. i was looking at a 980 titan and that was £600 at the time and its now £520 so they are dropping in price

    Geeky GPU buddy of mine went on to say that there is 1 factor that a SLI 980 setup would have an advantage over the New 1080.....im struggling to remember the stat, but I can assure you there's something in the 1080 that cant match a SLI 980 Ti spec setup.

    can you do a 1080 sli set-up. Surely that would be amazing and still cheaper than 2 980 ti's. I'm only going on the prices i found today and they said the 1080 was £450 uk which seems pretty cheap compared to what 980's are still going for. I'm no expert on cards however as i have only just got into PC gaming since discovering this forum and building my sim.

    Comparing prices from across the pond to even what we Canadian's pay VS what the American $$ is valued at right now is a real sketchy thing....for example 980Ti's are still fetching 899$ CAD up at my local shop.....so you cant really compare $ for £
