Need help with Video Ride Creator & Video Ride Recorder Please!

    I am just getting started learning how the manually record motion for a ride film and I am stuck.

    I have Simtools Pro installed along with Video Ride Creator/Recorder and the Joystick Gameplug.

    Via my Microsoft Xbox Joystick, I can see values change in the Tuning Center.

    My goal is to 'fly' a ride in real time while watching the ride video and record joystick values. I'm just starting with 2dof for now.

    This is where I'm stuck.

    (I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but in the Game Engine, the Axis Assignments and Interface Settings buttons are blue and unclickable.)

    Could someone please tell me the next few steps I need to do?

    I have tried loading a video in Video Ride Creator, arming the record button, opening Video Ride Recorder and hitting play on the playback monitor, but to no avail. What am I doing wrong?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    The Video Ride Recorder gets its telemetry from the game thru SimTools itself.
    Take a look at the pics that come with the Video Ride Recorder for more info.
