After pimping my G27 i can admit it is very nice for driving with but the FBB forces are far away from being what I prefer.

Which wheel should I buy? Anyone is driving the T500RS form Thrustmaster?

@bsft what I did find so far from a T500RS user:

"If my T500RS died tomorow (please don't die) I'd pretty much have to spring for a TX or T300RS tho since I have all the TM-compatible parts now, but if I was just buying new today out of my pocket, I'd probably just get another G27, since it was compatible with more games and includes the shifter and good pedals, and especially now is just DIRT cheap. And... I don't believe the T500RS is 3 times MORE FUN as the G27 for 3 times the cost. Better, yes. Stronger, smoother, BIGGER... but that's a lot of extra outlay for that better. If you're crazy serious SIM-GUY tho, you'll be able to justify the expense I'm sure. "

With our knowledge we could upgrade our G27's using stronger motors and bridges but IMO the deadzone is really sucking.

Maybe, I actually dont use a lot of feedback power, its fairly mild . I will try to see if I can fit the wheel without wrecking it too much.
To be honest, I am not looking at doing that till next year at least. I got a lot of "normal " duties around the house to do , now its coming into summer.

*Sigh*...I have read many reviews today and I come to the conclusion the T500RS GT would be the best choice because the prices have dropped massively. Meanwhile I hate the dead zone of the G27 and suffer due to the lack of strong FFB forces. To get back to your question - which choice you would have done?

    Fanatec CSW V2 ;)

But this Fanatec joy also cost much, so I guess the T500 would be best choice, it was cheaper before and now it's even cheaper. For the pedals I would go with Fanatec Clubsport Pedals V2.

I'm looking to sell my CSW V1 and upgrade to CSW V2, the reviews of new upgraded motor and gearing are pretty good.

CSW would be my vote as well, Thrustmaster and logitech can only DREAM to have as nice of gear as fana.

+1 on CSP V2's $ for$ The BEST pedals on the market.

The Fanatec would be a great choice but:
    1) The ffb in comparison to the t500rs is less impressive
    2) Motors sometimes fail or the bases have faulty components
    3) After sale service
    4) Costs
    5) Not available (invitation code)

As I have written above I am looking for a strong FFB wheel. The T500RS meets the requirements is available and at the moment really cheap, so with that it is worth the money (more than half of the costs of a Fanatec)

    no shit (or better should I say motors?) inside the T500RS: http://www.pc-cooling.de/Motors/DC Motoren/1.13.044.xxx/113044236/1.13.044.236 - 24 V DC Motor.html?osCsid=suh1vhorr1o8ohtn405u7jobh0

By who's standards is the T500 have better FFB ?

We are all DIY guys here, Not a big deal to swap a pair of 3$ motor's.

After sale service as in what ? our of warranty service ? They will sell parts if you need, At a cost all be it. But understandable for ANY company dealing with out of warranty gear.

Cost is relative to what you want from your gear. I want the Alcantera and Aluminum and Overall Fit Finish and quality, So i can justify the cost.

Yes the Invitation deal is rather annoying for some but DAMN did they do a good job hyping it up and Guaranteed they aren't holding on to any V2's at the factory.

Yes the T500 had a better motor than the V1, but not the V2. and you add in Better motor and WAY more immersion from the Fantec wheel's, Id say its a No brainer, Fanatec All the way!

Mercedes or BMW? :) The Fanatec is the gallant Mercedes between the rest of wheels, no doubt.
Ps: no 3$ motors are built in the T500RS, the Bühler motors cost ~120 bucks - each of them.

May I notice you are replacing motors to the V1 which are being already standard of the T500RS? :D

Motor's are NOT even close to the same, T500 uses a Single large motor, CSW uses 2 motor's. Get your facts strait before trying to be cheesy.
