My old system non motion. 3x ps3

    My Motion Simulator:
    2DOF, 3DOF, SCN5, SCN6, Motion platform, 4DOF
    Just thougt show you all some old pic from a few years ago when i got back to playing with things.
    Its running an old and very rare arcade base from namco's ridge racer it was a triple screen original i just changed it abit ! lol ( i can still put back to original but not in a full working state well i prob could as i have the game boards and the monitors too full setup.
    Tbh ive never ever seen another one.
    Back to what i have done, basically i have added 3 x 50" screens 3x ps3 and 3x gt5 and spent time trying to calibrate it to reasonable setup.
    I have the rel sub disconnected from the speaker and wired to a tactile transducer i made out of i think a 10" sub (part built in pic) also the g25 was ftted wired into the original pedals with clutch as the game had real car pedals and gearbox ( i thought you might like the gearbox pic).
    hope you like what i was doing.
    next step motion with the new bits i have for a start up 2dof for now.

    Moved this thread to "Off Topic - All other stuff here". You had posted it in a motion simulator Q@A section, there is no question or advice about building a motion sim.

    Very cool f1iceman, I like what you did with the cabinet. I know another guy who just purchased an old Turbo Racing cabinet and has plans to do something very similar.

    Hi sorry trust me im trying i was prob reading something tbh and not realised where i was and just did a tread thinking i was in the right one with noob as i keep two pages open and switch over from reading, im new to this forum stuff and been reading alot and trying to get used to the site, thanks for moving it for me :)
    keep pushing me round i will get there in the end :)

    I am going to try and get some pictures of the gear mech as its all machanical one and quite cool feel to it as its like a real box just needs to be adapted to 6 speed n reverse i thought it might be intresting for everyone to have a quick butchers at.
    thanks for the positive comments too i have thought of putting the scn5's on this cab as the metal part behind the seat comes off be a nice place for two actuators to sit.

    I want to do custom tho tbh see what happens if it ll goes wrong i can fall back to that idea.lol
