I will start to show my progress here

I think my starting point was the most complex, to achieve communication from the Playstation 4 to the PC => Simtools => Arduino. => to the chair of the barbie (donated by my daughter, she was the one who has recorded the video). and Work very well !!

After a very profitable weekend, (it has been raining in Santiago de Chile, so I have had time to move forward); I commented that I have now tested the configuration of @RacingMat , https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/from-atoz-2dof-arduino-wiper-playseat.4616/

Sending serial signals from the arduino and everything work 100%, I can only say that this great! https://www.xsimulator.net/community/members/racingmat.8138/
    thank you racingmat, very complete

So far it has worked very well I tested the game in the ps4 Project Cars, using UDP telemetry, sending to the PC, and this to the arduino I have done some accelerations and brakes and everything looks great

In addition I already bought everything, (Change the Cardan), I have drawn the pieces that tomorrow enter the production

I hope this weekend to build the structure, today I have also measured the balance of the play seat

    I leave some photos.

    regards!

Hello everyone, my project continues to progress, sorry for not responding before but @noorbeast has done very well (Thanks @noorbeast) ,PS4 => UDP by wifi => PC => Simtools =>Arduino => playseat...is the solution, there are also the UDP plugins for F1 2016 and F1 2017, but I will start with Project Cars.
I was cutting aluminum for my structure, I'm playing very fine with the resistance, but betting on a better termination, lighter and easy of Assemble (use rivets! Similar as in airplanes!) but, Allen bolts on the Cardan, and reinforcement plates at the critical points.

I am attaching some photos, I will be out of the country for a week, so I think in two weeks I will finish everything !!

    best regards!

    @insanegr

Dr. Rossi! the biggest (it's my toolbox)

Yes, the Sway works correctly, but it was already 2 AM I need to regulate the height of the arms of the wiper, today I will film one with more detail of the movements, after correcting.

the feeling with the playstation VR+ 2 dof + Body Shaker, is really very good, I will connect a fan to feel the wind ... !!

Hello Santanadany ! that's a good idea to build it with alu, you should win some weight ! what is the weight of the whole structure ? I'm very interested to build a simulator working with the ps4 and the psvr like you, did you tried other games with the simulator ?

Hello @creazyrider , only the structure must weigh as 15 kilos +/ - and 250 rivets!, works very well, just need to reinforce the most critical parts with metal clamps.

I have all Drawings in CAD, if you want them, give me your e-mail and I will send them to you; I wanted to use square aluminium profile , but in Chile the importer only have the profiles square and not the unions ..

Yesterday, I have finished adjusting the arms of the wiper, y @insanegr , he was right, I had to invert the motor cables, now the sway is correct.

Project car works 100%, but I tested the F1 2016 and , F1 2017, and the movement of sway and surge, is very soft (in the axis testing simtools move very little) , only increases I get out of the track, try to increase the% in the AXIS assignments but I can not increase the movement. :( , I need help.

    best regards.

    Hello Santanadany,
yes i'm interested to get your autocad file, I could be inspired to build mine, actually I don't know yet what kind of sim I'll build (2DOF, 3DOF, ...).
I watched your video, it look likes very immersive ! and with VR it should be one more step to feel inside the car !

    Hi,

I am so impressed by your work and after reading so many threads and diy examples, yours is the one that is going to be my archetype.

I started building a gaming chair like the Roto VR, that I wanted to use with my PlayStation VR. The chair is working so far, but the main problem is, that supporting 360° is way too difficult, because of the wires needed by the VR, especially, as HDMI signals are hard to transfer through slip rings.

So I asked in Raspberry groups and the told me about xsimulator. And there I am. This is where I wanted to be all the time :)

I'm pretty new in understanding everything regardings xSimulator.

Do you know if PS4 VR Games are supported or will be supported, like DriveClup or Dirt Rally?

Also, you said the whole structure weighs approx. 15 kilos. How much weighs the seat structure, I mean the whole thing that has to be moved be the motors and what is that max. it may weigh? I wasn't able to find a calculation what motors I need to buy to make that work. So maybe you can help me on your calculations, if you don't mind and find time.

    Best regards
    Alex

One more question I have :)

What is the diameter of your pipes?
