    Hi all,

I am new to xsimulator, however, I am on a mission to build my own 3DOF DCS simulator. For this, I started small and built a crude prototype. From here the progress should be exponential as I have done the necessary research and experimentation. I am now starting the implementation phase and looking forward to sharing it with you.

Thanks everyone for your generously sharing the details of your projects. Since my discovery of this platform I have learned so much.

A great place to start, if for no reason than to get some real hands on experience as to the fundamentals of a DIY motion project. I am looking forward to seeing where the journey leads you and following your project thread.

Have you made any progress? I am interested in building a 3 DOF for playing DCS as well. I like the design you have but I think for the chair gimble you would need to either set the axis above or below the seat to secure the other end due to stress from the rotational axis at the attachment? Don't you?
