I am guessing it relates to these negative ratings, though in my experience most 'Dumb' ratings are simply accidental, particularly with big fingers on a mobile phone. In my view having Dumb as a possible rating simply lays the ground for conflict, I don't really see any value in it for the community.

As @noorbeast wrote you left negative ratings, maybe by accident. If you didn't mean to, you could always undo those ratings using the links in the prevoius post.

I agree there's no need for such a function in THIS community, I would instead prefer having the chance to report a spammer to an admin. I don't know whom the admins are on this forum, maybe @yobuddy is one of them

Edit: is it the last line near data and time of post?

Yes you have a 'Report' link below the signature and neat the Date/Time if needed @Blame73.

@RaceRay is the site admin, if you have any real problems.

You guys are right. The dumb function is non productive and could lead to conflicts which we dont want to. Besides that, THIS community is one of the friendliest one i ever have participated to, so i will remove this dumb 'dumb' option. :grin

One concern about this: 'Dumb' was the only rating which gave a minus point for the rating bar below your avatar.
If you think we still need a option for voting a post negative we could just rename the "dumb" option to something more friendly please let me know your suggestions.

Personally I can't see a positive application @RaceRay and the negative points are not significant in number in any way that I can see. In my view a thumbs down is perfectly adequate for disagree and the Report link is there for anything that is truly problematic.

Thanks for your thoughts. The dislike button gave a positive rating as well, i changed it to neutral so it does not affect positive nor negative the reputation.

    Hello,

I want to bring this post back to live again. The motors from smolka are sold out so I ask you for some help to find a motor within Europe delivery for a traction loss on my 2 dof.

    Maybe someone can help me?

    THX

i have bought already 2 of these motors but if they didn't live forever i would be also interested in any other motors which can be bought in Germany or without a lot of money in Europe.

Funny thing, 9 posts about the inappropriate "dumb" votes @Martin.Berger gave, and not a word from him about it :p.
At least it was positive to get the "dumb" button out, lol!

.. so that looks not really good to get some payable motors here in Europe at the moment...

I was so lucky to by 2 Smolka for my first build...but I search now something with more rpm... .no I don't want to pay 200€ for shipping o_O

I have found some motors with more rpm at ebay in Germany...unlikely they only have 10 nm at 24v ...not perfect but they are very cheap ..so there are 3 left maybe someone want to try them too
