Guys I think I have everything figured out to begin my first 2dof build but the only thing I’m having a hard time understanding is how to attach a lever (arm) to the motor shaft. I have seen many photos and videos but I still don’t understand. Is there a universal type clamping lever arm that can attach to the motor shaft of a wheelchair motor? Please if anyone can point me in the right direction.

The picture I listed here is what I’m thinking of using for my first rig. I see a key slot on the shaft but how? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My wheel chair motors had a keyway so I just drilled the 17mm hole in some 5mm steel then hand filed the keyway profile. And that's working great.
