    Hi,

I have just put together a SimXperience Stage 3 and am trying to set up SimTools to work with it as it supports some really cool games. But I am having problems...

I have set up the 3 actuactors (axis) and they move as expected in the 'Output Testing' option of SimTools Game Engine using the DOF testing. But games don't seem to be using the actuators properly.

For example, LFS is moving the rear traction loss actuator left and right when I accelerate and brake instead of using the pitch (even though pitch and rear traction works OK in the output testing). Outrun 2 2006 uses the rear traction actuator when turning left and right and there is no roll. And No Limits 2 rollercoaster simulator, although moving in generally the correct way, still has the odd movement I don't expect.

All games have had the profile copied from the Default profile, so this confuses me! What am I doing wrong?

I have attached my settings below. All 3 SCN5 actuators are set up in the same way, just assigned to different axis (1,2 and 4).

The SCN5's are connected directly to the SimXperience SX4000 controller, so I haven't had to do any wiring.

Do each force individually and change the box highlight from orange to black and or vice versa to get the actuators moving in the right direction first.

When I do the output testing with the DOF output they all respond correctly. But in games they don't.

You said assigned to different axis (1,2 and 4), but it should be 1, 2 and 3 given the Axis Allocations. Perhaps just a typo but I thought it should be noted just in case.

Try following @prodigy advice here, and in particular change the Packet Rate to 10ms: http://www.xsimulator.net/community...mexperience-motionrig-to-simtools.5783/page-3
