You could spam the site like @shannonb1 is doing right now and risk being banned altogether but I actually don't recommend this!!!!!!!!

You just admitted to posting all of your previous post for the purpose of getting more coins. While you may be contributing somewhat with you're comments I still call that "spamming"!

He is using the system as it has been created. At least his comments are pertinent rather than "Good Job" like others I have seen (what was that collection of numbers that guy used?) :D

Actually in an attempt to give you a real answer @jsmith2307 I don't know why you don't have enough coins now because you have been around for awhile already and made several posts. Maybe when the system was switched to the coin system you didn't get what you had coming! In any case ask @RaceRay if he is willing to give you access to download it or I will give you some of my coins to purchase it if necessary!

    Greetings,
The situation resolved! Thank you to those of you that responded to my plea. In particular I'd like to thank BlazinH for the kind comments and Historiker for the coinage!! At the moment, I am downloading the plugin! More to come!

@jsmith2307: Don't forget to also download and install the FSUIPC for FS 2004, which you can find at Peter Dowson's Support Forum.
This is not included in the plugin and is necessary for the plugin to work.

    value1,
I've been running Prepar3d 2.1 and previous versions for about two years now.
I DO use the paid version of FSUIPC and it's great.............and inside the root of Prepar3d, I do have the modules folder with FSUIPC files in there.

?? - When I'm finished with my platform build and ready to go - I know to d/l the plug-in for Prepar3d......and how to patch it.....
IS there anything I have to do "other than having FSUIPC installed?? - I know it uses simconnect - but just don't know what I'll need to do in reference to that.

Thanks so much for your valuable info.

    Tom

Yes, Value1 would be the one to ask here for a definitive answer I would think! But I will take a shot and see if I'm correct. I don't believe that FSUIPC is now required for FSX or P3D because it's use is not stated in the plugin. I believe the simconnect SDK is used directly so there is no need for FSUIPC to be installed. There is no simconnect available for FS2004 so FSUIPC must still be used for it however. As to whether you will be able to still use FSUIPC with the plugin also is unknown to me but my "assumption" is that you should be! I hope I don't end up you know where!

    Hi BlazinH,
Thanks my friend. Hopefully you're correct - I have read "somewhere" else, that it still requires FSUIPC - just can't remember where as it's been about a year ago.
When I get there (which won't be too much longer) - I/We will sure find out.

    Blessings,

    Tom

There's no guessing needed: FS9 requires FSUIPC, FSX and P3D don't.

So now we know for sure that FSUIPC is not a requirement for using the SimTools plugin for FSX and P3D. But I again assume @cthiggin that since you are not using motion yet that you are using FSUIPC for other reasons. That is why I stated that I didn't know for sure if you could still use it when using the plugin also but I would think so since Simconnect must allow for multiple clients for multiple add-on's. And FSUIPC may not even use simconnect because it originally used memory offsets prior to FSX and still may.

    value1,
Thank you for confirming that we're ready to go with FSX & P3D - appreciate it.

    BlazinH,
Now WE know for sure. I use FSUIPC for calibration of my Saitek X52Pro - reverse throttles etc., as well as my CH Pedals - I also use lua for a couple items.

Thanks so much fellow for the info and confirmation

    Have a blessed day.

    Good evening to everybody.
Have you solved FS9 compatibility with DOF P3?
    thanks,
