    Hi Plugin developers,

have you ever had the case that the pointers you found for a Memory Hook Plugin become invalid when you connect/disconnect USB devices?

And do you know a solution for this?

    Here's what I did:
I determined some pointers for Radial-G via Cheat Engine and built a plugin with these pointers. Then I installed the plugin into SimTools.
Result: Game Engine, Game Dash and Game Vibe showed the expected values.

I did all this with just an XBox controller connected to my PC.

Then I turned on my USB hub, which has all my simulator components connected: Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog, MFG Crosswind rudder pedals, 3 SaberTooth 2x32, Razer Tartarus.

I restarted the SimTools components as well as the game, and this time none of the SimTools components showed any values.

I retested again with turned-off USB hub, and everything worked again.

Now I went back into Cheat Engine and did a pointer scan with turned-on USB hub.

Result: None of the pointers that I previously found with turned-off USB hub are still valid when the hub is powered.

I made exactly the same experience some time ago when I tried to build a plugin for Lunar Lander.

Do you have any hints for me?

Are you finding thumbstick values and not telemetry data? Or just not static pointers?

I don‘t find stable pointers. Either they work with or without powered USB hub, but none of the found pointers work for both configurations.
