I have been printing a lot of stuff lately and was wondering what settings you guys are using to get good prints.
I'll start with the material I've been using the most which is PETG 1.75mm. I believe this is also a pretty popular material. I use the cheap stuff from micro center and get good prints at a bed temperature of 90c and a hotend temp at about 250c. I run the speed at 50mm per sec. its a .4 nozzle and I do .3 layers.

I'm printing PETG with lot less temperature, as when i did the calibration tower 230 / 70 works the best. As for toughness, instead of pumping up the infill, i use 4 wall and it is very strong. Also i use paper glue when printing big flat part as i'm on a glass bed !

I am a PETG convert from PLA, bed temp of 70 and Hotend Temp of 230c should be fine, good idea to have the first layer slightly hotter and slower for better adhesion. 0.3mm is classed as draft quality, but TBH most the things I print only need that quality, however you will get more strength printer at a higher resolution 0.2 etc. I print at 80mm ps with no issues, but again depends what you are printing.
