I have installed LiveForSpeed (d:\Program Files\LiveForSpeed) and SimTools (d:\Program Files (x86)\SimTools) and Windows 10. As you will note, both of these were installed on my "d" drive, since "c" has limited space. I successfully patched LFS with SimTools Manager. The SimTools Game Manager connects with SimTools Game Engine (Connected in Green). I set Game Engine DOF 1 Axis 1..6 to Roll..Surge respectively and set communication using Serial, COM3, 115200 BPS, 8 Data Bits, Parity None, 1 Stop Bit ,and have the Interface - Output set to "All Out" parameters at 10ms.

I can successfully control my Arduino base 6DOF Steward Platform over the USB port with no problem, using the Game Engine Output Testing Axis Output manual control.

When I go to start up LiveForSpeed, the Game Manager shows Game Running in blue. I start playing the game racing the car, and the Output Testing Visual Axis does not show any data and neither does the Game Engine Tuning Center. I've tried several times re-installing both LFS and SimTools, with no success. Does any one have any ideas?

It is usually best to post screenshots of all of your settings.

Did you try running Game Manager as Admin and then patching LFS.

Thank you for your suggestion. I unpatched LFS with GameManager, then exited both GameManager and GameEngine processes. I then restarted both of them as "Administrator" and patched LFS with GameManager (SimToolsLFSPatched.png). I then started LFS and started SinglePlayer (SinglePlayer.png) race. Opened TuningCenter (TuningCenter.png) and NO DATA is observed.

Note that GameManager shows "Game Running" in blue. I can also use GameEngine OutputTesting to manually activate my Arduino Stewart Platform.

So unfortunately... this did not work.

    RESOLVED!

Another friend suggested I try installing LFS and playing SinglePlayer game FIRST BEFORE patching LFS with GameManager. THIS DOES WORK!

What I had been doing prior to above sequence, is to install LFS and then immediately apply SimTools patch without first playing LFS game. THIS DOES NOT WORK!

I believe that is mentioned in the documentation, I had assumed that you had already started the game first. When the game starts it creates files that Simtools needs to use as well. Glad to hear that it is working for you! :)
