I'm building my platform based on SCN5 150mm but in the mean time I'm looking for alternative source of actuators with better torque and comparable speed.
    I found this website:
    http://www.ultramotion.com/products/bug.php
If You play with different options on this website, You going to be able to put together actuator that probably could be used with X-sim.
Its a nice website, once You click on get info, You will be able to see graph with speec, force and even current drawn.
I know that's been said here before that stepper motors are too slow for motion platform but I figured that it would not hurt to ask again anyway.

    Hi

not sure, But if I have read carefully, Ultramotion will boost your actuators. I,m not sure about torque but I think speed will be increase for sure. I have not tested myself. If I,m wrong surely someone with more experience will tell.
