    ma question
its possible use x-sim2 soft in profiler for variation speed in 0 a 5 voltes in my variteur de freqence for the speed analogue+digital output let and right ?

the variateur de freqence is not possible use the pwm speed and direction.

    Hi,

You could use my circuit to convert the 0-5v of k8055 to 0-10v ...

    (more here: post14488.html#p14488 )

But how are you going to implement positioning? The delay of reading k8055 values from potentiometers back to x-sim could be dangerous to use and in case the computer program crashes the motors will keep accelerating!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do the proportional positioning inside my AMC microcontroller with cycles of 1.5ms !!!! And the positioning control is fully autonomous from the computer software that delivers only the end positions. So in case of computer crash, the AMC controller will keep the motors positioned to the last given position safely!!!

BTW, your frequency drives has 0-10v input. Can you answer if these are correct:
If you feed it with 0V will rotate to one direction (say left)?
If you feed it with 5V will stop the motor?
If you feed it with 10V will rotate to the other direction (say right)??

    Best Regards, Thanos

Afaik Sirnoname has written as improved K8055 plugin, that eliminates the pot reading lag
You simply have to uninstall the K8055 manufactuer drivers, and use XSim.

    the variateur to freqence

no fonction pwm ,the pwm for motor dc /moteur brushess

pwm no moteur ac use variateur de freqence moteur asyncron

the variateur to use 0 A 10 voltes speed freqence 0 a 200 % entree analogique no direction just speed

the direction is controler enter digital s1 right exemple s2 left exemple

the motor security break saft no electricite
the motor securit interupteur end course
    its maximum security

    no probleme pc crash
the reglage maxi speed in variateur is 20 % no dangerouse pc crash the motors its brake end course interupteur

    the 0 volte = 0% speed the 5 voltes = 100 % the 10 voltes = 200 %

    in my configurations the demo velleman da1 the 0 voltes = 0% the 5 voltes = 20%

thanks my anglais is not terrible

btw, you can make screenshots easily with the print key on your keyboard, and then simply paste them with right mouse click into picture edit program. MS Paint or irfanview for example.

    Hi,

Can you post the datasheet of the omron v7 you are using? (english version if possible)

    Hi scott,

it is quite a bit of a challange to understand you. But here is what I have concluded so far.

The motor driver is not your problem.

Your motor driver accepts 0-10V analog speed input, and S1 and S2 trigger the motor turn direction.
As far as I understood you are not getting analog speed signal from Profiler via the K8055 yet.

I am not sure if A1 on your drawing means DAC. Because A1 and A2 are analog inputs!
You have to use DAC1 and DAC2 outputs for analog 0-5V speed output to the omron-V7 motor driver!

If you have connected it right, then you have to deal with the XSim2 Force-Profiler to output analog data to the K8055.

I am not sure how far the analog/proportional output in XSim2 for the K8055 is, and how it can be activated. Sirnoname should be able to enlighten the issue better.

GOOD MORNING my simulator and to connect up there taken out from velleman digital 1 and 3 on S1 left and right 1 and S2 who orders the direction of motors in axle x and the similar for the driving deuxieme for l centers there therefore two motor

that I would like c the speed in taken out analogical of the velleman on l entree analogical of my dimmer in 0 - 5 circles is to order
as on l example of the photograph which as an electrovanne and a debitmetre electronique 0 a 5 voltes

exemple electric valve direction digital out velleman 1 et 3 (ok) = for me S 1 et S2 variateur ( ok ) for direction right and left axe x
air flow analogique valve analogue out velleman 0 a 5 voltes for speed (ok) = for me input analogue 0 a 5 voltes variateur ( ? )

I want to know how to make in the matrix of x-sim2 for gerer analogue valve speed in 0 has 5 voltes pneumaticscreen4.gif

i am post message a sirnonam for my question

    Hi

I can't help you with k8055 matrix configuration but just wanted to tell that my AMC can drive your omron v7 directly without firmware changes (firmware1.0)...

Interfacing is simple by adding only an RC filter to produce analog voltage instead of PWM...!! And the AMC already outputs two digital signals per channel for direction! :brows:

I'm not trying to convince you that the k8055 is not good piece of hardware. Its just that sometimes its hard to make such hardware interfaces that depend on computer software to work, especially if you try to make them do something that aren't designed for!!! :mug1:

395_35101[1]J7(1).jpeg your systeme is very good but the v7 for l example inverted in 0 have one j7 and has 10 V

    but i have j7

    Hi,

Oups. I was talking for omron j7 too. (I misspelled the model). I know that it has 0-10V analog input cause I was looking the datasheet. But then you said about only 5v analog and showed the strange connection diagram and therefore I asked you the more details or the datasheet you are using as reference.

The point is that you could use the 0-10v adapter I designed added to the PWM signal ports of my amc and still use the directional digital outputs! Its a mess to imagine... I better put all together in a new diagram/schematic...

    @Thanos

He is using 5V only, as the K8055 analog output gives 5V max only. But as his motors are strong/fast enough, it is ok by using just 5V.

    @Scott
You are right, the issue is just Software related. But you dont need the matrix for analog ouput imho. Not sure though.
Please make a screenshot of the K8055 interface setting window in XSim. As I dont have the K8055, I cannot see the setup screen.

in the matrix everything is definitely to regler but when I turn has left ca augment the speed and have right its fall the speed to light start my probleme ca I do not see commaent he regle the speed of the valve you screen

the out analogue the valve is speed no direction in the screen (yes no )

electrovannr right and left direction ok

    hello tronicgr
with the link you give me, I searched on the internet and I found a lot of editing:
    http://www.sonelec-musique.com/electron ... n_001.html
(sorry its french, but you can change with google )
they use this assembly to convert the PWM output in proportional variable from 0 to 10v.
that is what we need! cool.
he said that the change is proportional to %. 99%= 9,9V

    (google traduction:
This project allows to convert a PWM signal (PWM) in a voltage whose value is proportional to the duty cycle of PWM signal. If the PWM signal has a duty cycle of 1%, the generated voltage is 0.1 V. If the PWM signal has a duty cycle of 99%, the generated voltage is 9.9 V. It is a montage that produces the opposite effect of my dimmer light 005, which for its part produces a PWM signal whose duty cycle depends on tension. The linearity of the PWM converter / voltage is relatively good, a PWM signal duty cycle of 35% produces a voltage of about 3.5V, and a PWM signal duty cycle of 75% produces a voltage in the range of 7.5 V. The frequency (fixed) of the PWM signal can be between 200 Hz and 20 KHz.)

you had already tested with the Velleman card?
I'll try editing, time to assemble the components and assemble the map.
