    Hi guys,

I've just finished my second motionplatform for a friend of mine.

I've set everything up accordingly, but I've run into a problem now.
I can run each motor in the JRK sofware, but as soon as I want to test them in Sim-Tools, only
one of them will move, and then Sim-Tools crashes.

    Has anyone experianced similar problems?

Are you using wiper motors? In case you are, are they ground isolated?

I've updated my first post with screenshots.
I am using 2 wormgear Motors which were used for conveyor belts.

They are not ground isolated, neither was the old rig.

    Seems like there's a space before the 1 , in <Axis 1>
    Should be <Axis1>

Interface is now configured like you said, still the same issue, Simtools just crashes.

Furthermore one of the motors is "stutteri g" before he moves into position with the SimTools test.

Can you please post picture of the Interface settings for both Axis1 and Axis2.

    What are your PID setting?

So are both motors moving now, or only one?

Is there any crash message and if not can you also post any relevant logs.

I can't see anthing wrong in the Pololu settings, I bet when you run the motors and manually set position they work as they should.
Can you run both motors in the pololu app?

The PID settings as well as the Axis Interface is in the first post now. :)

I can run both motors simultaniously in the Pololu app, no problem there.

If I run SimTools and disconnect one of the JRKs the other one will work properly, if I switch to the other one it does too. Output testing/TuningCenter and games work, but there is no sense doing this with just 1motor ofcourse :).

The only problem is, when both are connected and I want to run them with SimTools.
Sometimes both work in the Output testing, but as soon as I want to run a game with the "TuningCenter" Sim-Tools crashes again.

This results in the left motor being powerless, and the right one in a fixed position.
I have to turn off this motor via the Pololu app and kill Sim-Tools in the taskmanager to move on.

You can actually "see" what's happening in the Pololu app.
First both get a signal, they start moving, but after just half a second the left motors stops, and Sim-Tools freezes.
Furthermore sometimes the right motors "jitters" when starting the output testing in Sim-Tools.
In the Pololu app the motor is turned on and off very fast in that case, and makes a strange hammering noise.

I am confused...are your Axis Interface settings what is in the first post, or have you changed them to be exactly the same as those I posted, just changing the com ports?

Oh, I changed them to just <Axis1> and <Axis2>, otherwise the same.

    That's next on my list.
