I have a seat mover rig and I'm trying to add traction loss. I have everything hooked up and at first the jrk wouldn't connect to windows (only the 2 for the seat movers would) So I bypassed the hub that I'm using in my case and ran a new wire to the computer from the jrk. Now I am getting a green light on the board but I keep getting a windows error. it says that its not recognized and it shows up in device panel as unkown usb device descriptor request failed.

am I missing something / is my jrk shot.

    thanks

It could be faulty, a bad solder job or faulty USB cable.

Check the usb cage is not loose, check your soldering and swap out the usb cable for one known to work on the other JRKs. If that fails contact the supplier.

I will check the solder tomorrow. The cage feels solid. I also have another wire I can try.

    Thanks @noorbeast

The cage can look solid but still be an issue, I had one JRK like that, so it pays to check:
