So my JRK let loose of the usb plug again. Do they do any kind of discounts on instances like that? repair? Or just get a new one and deal with it...its a lil older but it first broke right when i got it, but I soldered it back.

    thanks

I had one JRK usb cage do that, plus another which was just plain faulty.

I found Pololu pretty good to deal with, we exchanged some emails over a couple of days around fault testing and they ended up offering a 50% discount for up to 3 replacement JRKs. I acknowledge that I was a possible contributing factor with the usb cage coming away, as that JRK had been handled a lot when modifying alloy boxes for them, so was happy with the offer, though it did not dislodge until after it was back in the sim.

Should have reported it straight away to them mate, they would have happly posted another out too you, they recently changed manufacturer of the cards , from what I hear they changing back to the other for the next batch. Bugger.

Now @shannonb1 have you thought about using a dab of hot glue on it to stop it moving or another is a little bend in the top of the cage so the cable is a little tighter, myself I secure the card and the cable so neither can move from vibrations, Old R2 Ard's do the same thing. Hot Glue fixed it for me Dashboard Ard.

It's a bust. No fixing it on my side. Already soldered it twice before but the traces are pretty much screwed and I font have a tip small enough to solder straight to the end points

Bugger any news on if Pololu will help you out. If they don't reply to an email , just post the issue publicly on the their forum , then they are pretty quick to fix the issue. Well its in their best intensions to fix manufacturing errors , a usb shield(holder) should not come loose, Are they still under their 1st years warranty?, if so its a straight replacement. The last time I had an issue from in correct wiring , Note to one self , don't Drink beer before wiring Jrks !!. So from my stupid mistake they, gave me a 50% discount on 5 units to replace 2 units, so I bought 5 and 2 lucky members here got a couple of Jrks for 50% off. Im a nice bloke too couldn't sell them for more than I paid.

I just went ahead and ordered a new one. It was 2011 when I bought it. I'll hot glue over it this time.
