    Hi all!

This is my very first post on this forum. Today I decided finally to try to make a sim by meself. I've been reading tronicgr's threads and his marvellous work has inspired and made possible for newbie like me to start a project of my own.
As a confirmation and a kickoff for the project I ordered two wiper motors (á 15€) from a car recycling center here in Finland.
Next step would be to find a dealer where to find parts for the tronicgr's AMC.

I've planned to make all the electronics and stuff first and if I'm able to get them up and running. I start to worry about the mechanics.

I try to keep uploading some stuff here as long something relevant comes up during the project.
I guess the project will last LONG as I'm quite busy with all the other things. (Don't we all are)

So thank you all for inspiring and helping me with this journey. Special thanks ofcource goes to Greece!

Hey, seems like we are at the same stage in this project. For me to it will be a looong lasting project because of the same reasons you mention. I will start it by ordering electronic parts, but I must use some time to find the best placec to get them from to Norway. Where in Finland are you located? (Put yourself on the usermap!) Nice if you update this tread when you progress with it.

Hi fred. Nice to hear that i'm not strugling alone with this :)

Because i'm a total newbie when it comes to electronics it is pretty hard to find correct parts for the amc. There is this part list in thanos's thread but when u search for the part in the web shop of any electronic dealer you got dozens of alternatives to choose from. And when you'r not very familiar with the requirements of each part it is hard to choose the suitable.

So if any one has a up to date partlist with exact part numbers of some specific dealer i'd be more than pleaseful. Newark.com part list mentioned in the original amc thread doesn't fit for me coz they don't deliver to finland.

And i'm located between helsinki and hämeenlinna in the south finland. I'll add my username to that map when i log on with pc. (Now using cell)

Hey, maybe its a good idea to chose some shops with just a few alternatives. You could read and join this tread about parts for the elektronics: http://www.x-simulator.de/forum/parts-list-for-avr-dual-h-bridge-t1880.html. I am also a newbie in electronics, but it would be fun to manage to build it, and learn about it. I think there is a lot of help in this forum, but also a lot of information to read, easy to get confused :?
