    One man bought a car HUMMER, stopped at a traffic light, suddenly back in at full speed hummer hits small car type FOX, HUMMER little swayed ... driver of Hummer did not understand what happened, looking into the onboard computer and there is a message: - FOUND NEW DEVICE , INSTALL THE DRIVERS ?

    I have read this one on the internet before but once....way way back when I received my PC tech degree and was still working in IT (for a very short time before I pulled my hair out and quit) I got this phone call. Keep in mind the old large screen monitors were HUGE:

    Lady: The monitor started to crackle, spark and smoke came out the top.

    Me: It sounds like there might have been a power surge. Was the PC also affected? What where you doing when the monitor stopped working?

    Lady: No, the PC is fine, I was watering the plant that sits on top of the monitor.
