joining 2 blown mm's togther is it possible

    hi everyone i wanted to no if you can join 2 mm's together and use 1 channel from mm 1 and 1 channel from mm2... im asking this because ive got boards with one side working and one side not instead of throwing them away i wondered if i can use the good side of the blown boards as one monster moto

    Yes it is possible however if you can just swap one of the chips over that works better. I used a heatgun to get the chips off to fix quite a few of mine.

    so heat gun it off and solder it back on ?

    i used a heat gun to remove the chip how do i reattach it

    Same way you took it off, line it up perfectly with all pins in correct position don't apply any pressure as you will spread out and end up shorting the heat pad solder.

    Think I heated them up to around 230 degrees, I used a laser thermometer

    Edit: I protected the back of the board by covering it with tin foil pushed down to the pcb.

    ive wreaked all my boards now and the ones that not doesnt work worth a try...id done it before you responded so i did do it from the back side i did it from the front and stuff fell off everywhere....ill wait another month for new boards to show up...thanks anyway bro
