Hello guys, My name is Jean and i live in Brazil - Sao Paulo. Im simulator builder and i want to start to build my first 3DOF motion for flight Simulation. I just start my search on web and found this great forum! I need some help to start my project. My goal is build a 3DOF motion for total 440 Lbs (250KG). I need to know the power for each AC motors, RPM, reductors and best choice for board hardware. I think to use 3 inverters Siemens or Weg for each AC motors.

I want to build some like this: PS-3TM-250 by Motion Systems

    Any help welcome.

    Thanks all

Thanks for reply. I think to spend around $5.000,00 (i hope). A friend suggested to me use 3 x 0.75 HP AC + reductor 1:60 + 3 x inverters. The Payload max will be 200KG. What do think about?

    Hi @Jean Marcelo Assis ...
For load/torque/spring/ calculation it is best that you dig in these running threads ...
I guess for the platform here is ...

what Tom AKA @cthiggin has done for his 3 DOF .

    and here is ...
    http://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/3-phase-ac-motors-pyramid-simulator.4790/
    what I've done with my 3DOF ... I used 1/2hp motors with 1:50 reducer angular gearbox .
