It pays to add a link: http://store.steampowered.com/app/517710/

You can add Redout to the long list of requests for plugin support: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/game-plugin-requests.5839/page-14

Or have a go at making a plugin yourself: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/how-to-write-a-plugin-for-simtools-api-documentation.131/

There is a joystick plugin for games that do not have a dedicated motion plugin: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/marketplace/joystick-plugin.127/

Thanks for your info. While I'm having good results with joystick physics, Redout, (which has a great hover-craft/StarWars-Podracing physics engine, speeds of multiple hundreds of miles per hour, and tracks with great elevation and drops), would be much better served by a real physics engine plugin (which I'm unable to write since I'm not a programmer). That said, with x-sim and my my xbox controller, I'm able to use four joystick axes, with the xbox left joystick controlling left/right steering, the right joystick controlling left/right straifing and up/down pitch, and the left/right xbox triggers controlling acceleration and braking physics.
