First up grab a copy of the SimTools manual and keep it handy for reference: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...uilding-your-car-simulator.15082/#post-203426

The FAQs have a specific section for SimTools configuration tips and tricks: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simtools-settings-tips-and-tricks.18/category

The SimTools Interface Settings will depend on what hardware and code you are using, so you need tro provide far more detail befoire members can offer suggestions and advice.

Thank you very much for the advice!!
what I would be needing are the steps to follow after having all the hardware.
    - what programs do I need
    - how do I configure the arduino 1 rev3
    - how do I do the simulation
(I have not found a blog with a step by step for people who do not know about this)

You have code choices, which also relates to different hardware you may choose:

    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/motor-drivers.11/category

I would suggest you try the SMC3 code first, as different versions support a range of different hardware, plus it has a pretty easy to use configuration app: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/arduino-code-for-use-with-various-hardware-and-simtools.31/

SMC3 also has some good setup instructions for the code and the configuration app: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...3dof-motor-driver-and-windows-utilities.4957/
