Just for context, for the benefit of everyone else, what Marlon means is that I have been doing remote net sessions to teach him how to setup and use the Vive for commercial public demos, which is a bit more involved than home use, and includes things like rigorous and fast setup, safety, hygiene, game suitability and selection, VR arcade software use, screen and audio mirroring and learning how to prevent/identify and correct common issues, like reflection induced tracking issues, game induced missed frames and SteamVR updates/tweaks.

I also bought and setup the Alienware 15" laptop for the purpose (i7-7820HK ,16GB DDR4 RAM, GTX 1070). What I did was a dual Win10 install, the original which Marlon uses every day and a separate bare bones minimal clean Win 10 install that is just for public demos. We have been practicing for months on Marlon's install but he fired up the clean install for the first time last week and did the Windows Creator update, as I asked.

Marlon is indeed getting really proficient in things like solid setups and taking care of the gear. We are still waiting on some hygienic products and VRcover to be ordered, which I am following up for Marlon, and Marlon is to work on identifying and setting some comfortable games up in the VR arcade software over the holidays, in conjunction with Greenhouse facility staff. I have also showed Marlon how to correctly coil leads using the over and under technique and asked that he practice that skill as well, then teach Greenhouse staff how to do it. Next will be mastering safety instruction and practices.

@Pit this belongs in the Off Topic section, rather than in this VR thread section, so can you please move it there when you have a spare moment, sorry for the inconvenience, Marlon is as excited about his progress as I am and likely just wanted to share it with others.
