    My Motion Simulator:
    3DOF
I have owned a 12 seat Doron Simulator 3 DOF for the past 12 years. I have converted it to a Gilderfluke Motion Control System which works great.

I now want to build a 4 seat (one row of seats) 2 DOF platform to place in a enclosed trailer and show one of my licensed 3D ride films. The platform would obviously move in sync with the video.

I am starting to get a handle on the actuators..but have not found a thread that talks about 'recording' the motion for synchronized playback with a video. I am not using any game or other software so I don't have any input data for movement.

Can this be done in real time via a joystick? Or, can it each axis be graphed on a time line?

Everything else seems doable, I just need to get my head around this last problem.

Thanks for all of your help!
