I was looking for alternative hardware and come through this actuator. This supports up to 150lbs, includes a linear potentiometer and provides a 6 stroke. At USD138 this could be a much cheaper alternative to SCN5.

    Anyone, comments?

I ran across your post and contacted http://www.progressiveautomations.com at 1-800-676-6123 about a different project i was working on. they were able to make a custom unit (different dimensions) specific for me needs. Figured i would post that on here and let you guys know since you helped me out with the site.

    Good luck on your project!
