    I have hit another wall.
I got the LCd working on the AMC. and now when the programming bridge is not on it has on the lcD:

    flasing
    START
    18 PWM v1.0 JoyR

    And sometimes it changes to:
1.0 pjoyRider ect.... a bit scrambled.

    any idea?
ps - i cant find a datasheet on my Potentiometer. so i wired it up with the midle pin going to the middle pin on the AMC.. when i twist it it doesnt do anything. but when i twist it to the entire way the lcd turns off..

pss- it seems to not start properly. as the start on the lcd doenst go away....

psss- I think i found the problem. ill know tomorrow.. Ive been painstakely looking for cross wires and the wrong parts. one thing i didnt think to look at is the chip!! i have a atmega16 and the design calls for a ATmega8535!!!

would this be the problem? or are they interchangeable?
anyway tomorrow morning. first thing on my shopping list. atmega8535 to go test it out!!!!!

    psss
