    Hello,

I'm hoping you guys may be able to give me a direction with this project.
As you can see from the pic I have a set of racing meters. The goal is to connect this to X-Sim for the start of a 2DOF simulator.

Really what I'm looking for is if anyone has used gauges like these. I have attached a diagram of the layout of this unit. This unit is meant to display the features that were avalible with this series.

    A brief on the unit.

The four selector switch runs to a PIC controller which then outputs some data to the 5 tach. As you move through the selections the LED's change color as well as blink. Also the tach needle moves up 3.5K per click, showing a functioning unit. I understand that the PIC is sending information to the tach via code to manipulate the Tach as it does. However as I go through the selections and the tach functions there is NO real change in voltage from the PIC and the Tach. The V varies between 2.3 and 2.4V. With 2.3V being the last selection with tach @ 9Kish and a yellow LED.

So whats going on. How is this PIC communication with the tach if not through V? Anyone know where to get started? Any help would be much appreciated.
If you have any question..Let me know.

There is No info online about these.. So.. I'm lost

    Thanks,
    Mike

Thanks for the response. I spent days googling for gauges... Aircore-Driven did nto come up once!!

I see everyone is running them with a PIC16 like mine come with.

Thanks again.. Looks like its the right direction..
