G'day everyone, I have been a member here for a few months now and to be honest, I thought I had done an intro post, but my profile tells me otherwise.
Anyway, 44, father of 2. I have always loved car games anything and everything. My latest is iRacing and I am really enjoying my time with it. I am currently using a G27 clamped to my computer desk and it works well.
I am planning a compact desk seat mover and have just purchased my motors, JRK's and power supplies.
Thank you up front to all the fantastic that make this site what it is.
I will start a new project thread when my gear arrives and I actually start doing things in earnest. I'm not really a step a step person, but I understand that is what this site so great, so I will do my best.

I look forward to chatting to you all in the future and of course look forward to my seat moving.

Welcome @Nicko321 , I have given you extra coins to get the simtools and plugins for a week download pack
Good to see your choice of JRKS with your build.
By far the easier to set up and use.
As for compact desk seat mover, this is my ride

    Thanks for the welcome @noorbeast & @bsft .
@bsft thank you for the coins. I have been watching for a while and it was your desk seat mover that inspired me to go that way and also your information that made the decision to use JRK's. I do have room to make a behind the seat mover and at this stage haven't worked out if I want to rebuild wheel and pedal end of rig. Which type of mover would recommend?

@Nicko321 , so might you be planning to start with seat mover and then a full frame at a later date then?
Shoulder mount at rear is best for overall leverage for seat mover and full frame.
2nd best is full frame foot motor mount like @Archie has done

@bsft I'm definately doing a seat mover as full rig movement doesn't appeal to me at all. By my previous comment I meant I'm not sure if I will build a full rig with seat mover or still use my computer desk for the wheels and pedals. I like the look of the compact version, @jimmytm3 has a beautiful setup, but seeing as they are the cost to build either way I want to build the I can without the need to upgrade quickly. Sorry if I am unclear, I'm not used to posting in forums. I will improve this skill I'm sure.
