    Greetings, :?
Question, I have two HB-25's mated to AVR 1.5. I can't seem to get them to work. Are the jumpers on the servo supposed to change position? i:e now, I have them configured (1&2) the original configuration, should I change the configuration to (2&3). What else has to be done in order to get this thing to show some motion? :sos:

You mean you got these?? http://www.parallax.com/tabid/768/Produ ... fault.aspx

These has no PWM input controls, they work with RC pulse signals!!! I was using them 5 years ago because the ancient BS2 microctroller had no PWM capabilities! These cannot work with AMC1.5!!!

Lately I am using these with my AMC1.6... its tiny and powerful h-bridge up to 25A: http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/758

Here I use it in my PID tests with a large $400 cost planetary DC motor:

Fantastic! Good to see, it gives me the option of building the AMC with some BIG motor drivers.

Thank you for your resonse! Yes, those are the ones. I thought that since you included (HB-25) on your AVR Motion Simulator Contoller Rev 1.5 dated 2/19/2000 sheet, it was supported... However, I won't let that deter my mission, to motionize this thing! I'm going to order the high power motor driver 18v25 you mentioned, is there anything else I may need in addition? Or how about a Pololu high-power motor driver 24v20, they cost just a bit more...

The Pololu high-power motor driver 24v20 have less available current (20A) but can power 24v motors!! So if you want to use 24v motors get the more expensive one.

If all you want to connect is 12v motors get the high power motor driver 18v25, they provide more current for the car wiper motors.

Don't forget that you need two such motor drivers. One for each motor!

Thank you for responding, 12 volt motors at first, then after a while switch to 24 volt wheelchair motors that I have mounted.
