I got a MSI one, Play AC with HTC VIVE.
it goes 44.7 FPS in VR view, 120 FPS in single monitor.
I had tried to turn on 4K DSR, it looks like nothing changed in my eyes.

No, haven't tried single monitor as I never use only 1 :D

I could try to do it on Oculus settings as I bought the card for it....But I don't like it and already boxed it again (runs and hides)

Interesting to see the 1080 results in comparison to my SLI 980's. Very interesting.

Should you use VR you'd have much worse results, cause you'd use just one 980. Sli is unsupported in AC ( edit: VR).
There's no point in comparing one 1080 to two 980s in just one games. But you can still think 1080 is s%%t of you want to...

start with every thing low tbh.especially the stuff Blame73 has said.
you could also set your graphics card back to default too. and change to diffrent drivers. old and new worth a try.

VR does not yet support SLI, best to use a single powerful card.
