    Hi guys

    I get this " game engine is already running " message when I turn on the computer and run game engine. But the game engine is not working. I have to restart the computer to be able to fix this . Sometimes I get the same problem even if I restart computer . I start programs myself. Doesn't open automatically at startup What could be the cause of this problem?

    When you start the computer right click on the Windows bottom bar and select 'Task Manager' and see if SimTools is in the Processes.

    When you start the computer if you open the Windows tray on the right of the bottom Windows bar does it have the icon for Game Engine? If so it may be set to auto start.

    I would be willing to bet its your antivirus.
    Since it runs copy of the process in a safe space to check bad stuff on launch, the process launched normally thinks its already running.

    Try adding game engine to your antivirus's white list, and see if it corrects the problem.
    (may have to reboot after adding it to the white list)

    No antivirus program . Simtools does not start automatically. I canceled the autostart as I got the same error. But as you can see it does it when I run it myself.

    I added the game engine to defender. But I am getting the same error.
    I have one more question. Game engine crashes when simtools is open.
    For a while everything works fine. But then the action stops and the game engine crashes
    Could it be a problem with my motherboard?

    I use V2 . But if the prosimu interface comes for v3, I can try.

    by the way i spelled it wrong

    Game engine crashes when SIMHUB is open.
    For a while everything works fine. But then the motion stops and the game engine crashes

    There is a good possibility there is a port conflict, as 2 apps can't use the same com post at the same time.

    Maybe try rebooting the PC, then give simtools a go without simhub.
    If it works, it's just a port conflict.

    You could also install AVG free and replace defender.

    simhub doesn't work anyway .
    I restart pc when i get this error.Sometimes it crashes again. Sometimes I can run normally
