    Hi everyone,

We are starting a simulator project that will use inputs from the No Limits 2 and SimTools softwares.
Unfortunately, I cannot seem to set up the two to communicate correctly because no values are displayed in the Game Data Input in Game Engine. I would like to ask for assistance in addressing this problem.
    Thank you

    Hi noorbeast,

    thank you for your reply.
I am still trying to figure out how to set up the interface.
Is it possible to get the Game Data Input in a graph format?
    force vs time perhaps?

is it possible to skip the interface setting?
we will build the simulator from scratch and we are planning to
use PLC to control the VFD and AC Motors.
so we dont have that information yet.

The interface settings is how SimTools interfaces with your hardware and there are handy presets for common setups. Perhaps you can explain exactly what it is you have and are trying to do.

for now, all we have are no limits and SimTools plus plugins.
But we are planning to use PLC instead of arduino to control the
VFD and AC motors once we are confident that we can implement it.

What I am trying to do right now is to get Game Data Inputs from No Limits.
I am able to see the values that I need from NL2 but I prefer to be able to see it using Game Engine Tune Center. also It would be helpful if I can log the forces so that I can plot it in a force vs time graph. This will help me better appreciate the movement of the roller coaster.

I apologize if it seems that I am not reading through the forum. But believe me, that is all I've been doing since
Wednesday. Of course, I can only read during my off hours because I have a day job so I can only cover as much.
This is exactly what I am afraid of. I have been delaying the posting of this thread since friday night because I am
worried someone might find my queries stupid. Please bear with with me I am just excited with this project.

Thank you for all your help.
I am now able to see the values for the Game Data Input.
I have read from one of @value1 post that you should run the game first
then run the SimTools and it worked. Now, I am just concerned with the discrepancy in the
values. Please see attached image for better idea. 3.jpg

So Speed is in [km/h] while Extra1 is the same value in [m/s]
Vert. G-Force is the same as Heave. 1.4 vs 1.355. This is a rounding error.
Aceleration is the same as Surge. Again 0.0 and 0.02 is a rounding difference.
Horz. G-Force is the same as Sway. What is not shown in your screenshot is the exponent of Sway. I'm sure the value is -0.04 or so.
(Sway might be -(Horz. G-Force) because of force convention reasons)

Yup. thank you for all of your help.
    @value1 :)
regarding my question about plotting the force and speed values vs time.
    is it possible?

The plugins do not log telemetry data. However you can write a little program that logs the data you receive via the description
