Hi, what is the difference between the plugin that I can freely download from SimTools (plugin library) and the plugins that I need to buy for 29 EUR on XSimulator?

Plugins on XSimulator are for v2 of SimTools, and most of them were community developed

SimTools v3 introduced the plugin repository framework and the plugins are primarily dev developed.

In otherwords the key difference is SimTools evolution over many years.
