I'm in the process of sourcing parts for SFX-100 build and am wondering how much adjustment to my current frame I need to make. Currently I have 40x40 base, not the "lite" version but normal solid. My plan was to upgrade the left/right sides of the rig to 40x80 and have two doubled up pieces of the repurposed 40x40 as front and back. This along with few pieces spanning left and right side for seat and pedal plate. Would this be sufficiently rigid?

My guess would be yes with the right amount of brackets and bolts ( but its a guess )
worth a try and if it dont work the good thing is the profile you can just upgrade easy.
