I was struggling with the park pos. as well but it turned out that I was putting wrong range value for my 360deg. sensors and used scaling. (Should be 180 and scaling 1). After correction, park position sends the platform precisely to the assigned position in degrees.

I restarted Mover, the ESP32 and controllers and it didn't heave this time. I'm going to leave well alone until I get a better understanding.

The first time I tried "set the current pose as park pose", I had heave at its lowest (all six Park at -59), but the next time I started up and connected, Mover kept heaving to highest position, doing the complete opposite. I set all Park to zero, but it seemed to be still heaving.

I checked the Mover file PNLActuatorsOutput.nudDefault0-5, but they were zero or thereabout.

It would be good if I can get the rig to lower itself at the end of each session. I'll have a look at what's going on via UDP to get a better understanding.

I finally have FS2020 where I want it at. Took hours of purposefully crashing planes into the ground, riding storms and doing loops and rolls. The immersion is insane.

Started testing Dirt Rally 2. More of the same crash testing to see what's comfortable. I rolled a car down a hill and DR2 reset the car. At the reset, it felt as if the telemetry went from -20 degrees pitch to zero instantly. Is that telemetry coming straight from DR2? I'm not comfortable with that. It'll need lots of spike filtering. Mover can record telemetry, so I'll take a peek at what that was.

The car reset is near impossible to detect.
If we got that info on the telemetry, I could add a transition on the filters.
This happens in most games. Only way to handle it is the spike filter.

How does a motion software like SRS implement rumble effect for racing sims, is it done through the telemetry? Can this be done using Mover? Thanks.

I’m sorry if I wasn’t clear but I mean when the wheels go over a rumble strip on a race track that side of the rig rumbles. Can this be done like in SRS, I prefer Mover but it’s a nice effect.

I would say that your creativity is the limit ;-)
The filtering possibilities and ability to superpose different modules with insane amount of filtering tools gives you a very large room do get whatever you can imagine

Instead of using the chaotic movement of the joypad I would set up slow loops to see exactly what’s going on there

Do I see correctly that the motion stops when the singularity filter goes red ?

hey guys. im trying to get back into motion sim... does anyone have a link to simconnect that works with mover?

or does the default simconnect dll is ok? unless the one included in mover is necessary?

    **update**
running msfs2020 version 1.17.3.0 and the default simconnect dll works well with mover version 4.3.2

Once in developper mode you download the sdk and you have real-time access to all variables through a dedicated tool 377DD156-B60B-43E0-8530-8780322262AA.jpeg

I posted a rudimentary one above in this thread. @pmvcda one could create a separate thread for user profiles or even better, you could develop a online access for user profiles directly in mover with user ratings

I 2nd this request. An online repository of profiles would be an excellent idea...

This is great to hear! Is that for the BIGs or the small props (or both)? Would you mind giving us the settings of the POSES you use?
For the past two weeks I've been working on a DCS profile (for their WWII props). Im quite satisfied with it, but since I use an unorthodox way of filtering pitch and roll (position with logistic) I couldn't implement ROLLOVER succesfully. So far ─ I won't give up!
Your profile may not help me with that specific problem, but I'm eager to look into other solutions. And with Update 5 FS2020 is top on my list! ;)

I '3rd' this request, really a good idea! But a dedicated thread would already help a lot!

Kicking in: As I said in above post to VirtualObsession I don't feel ready to publish my DCS profile(s) as I consider them still BETA. But on second thought and if you explicitely ask, why not? Just «take it as it is» and be alert when rolling or looping over!
I started with the P-51 profile which I then used for the Spitfire. Since I 'reengineered' some changes back into the P-51 profile, in the end they may not differ very much. I have GROUND RUMBLE ticked with the Spitfire, but unticked for the P-51. Do as you like. You may also adjust the TOUCHDOWN settings for Heave. With current settings you quickly learn how to make smooth 3-point landings...;)

@pmvcda: Another thought I had wrt enhancing user's benefit: a 'commentary' field attached to the settings where one can write down remarks like version no, changes and other specific notes that get quickly lost in memory.
