    2DOF, SCN5
    Greetings!

I want to show you my first 2DOF that I build. I read and saw a lot of videos and texts from different sources to inspire me build this one. I think there are areas that i have to improve but I'm happy with the result.

Sorry for my english, I'm Brazilian and I not use Enligh in my day.

    Items used:

    1-) Aluminium Profiles
    2 X 1370mm (Vertical bars / Inferior Structure)
    4 X 920mm (Horizontal bars / Inferior Structure)

    3 X 360mm (Horizontal bars / Seat Structure)
    2 X 730mm (Base for SCN5)
    1 X 450MM (Seat base connected with the SCN5)

    2-) 28 X Aluminium Profile's corner joint

3-) Aluminium Profile's internal connector for corner joints

4-) 4 Leveling foot (I choose one that is expensive but it's a dumper too)

    5-) Universal Joint

    6-) Pair of SCN5 (100mm)

    7-) Foam D33 (Density 33)

 8 Rubber Mat 500x500mm (That one for crossfit :))

First test before building the sim motion (I uploaded as a short movie and can't embed here, sorry):

    Second test with the structure:

    Problems after building:

I tested with Left for Speed and SimTools crashed after 1 minute after playing. I checked the ILK pin, Bauds in the Com interface, got the logs from windows events but found nothing. After reading that I have to set my view to first person view (even though I have it that way), I suspected that VR or SimHub had changed something. I uninstalled the LFS and installed it again and it worked like a charm!

I have to wait one more day to send a request of dyi license to play my beloved game (Assetto Corsa) and I am little anxious so I started playing LFS (I`ve never played this game before).

LFS is a great surprise! With a GTX1080TI and a Pimax, I get 110fps, best experience ever with a sim and Vr!

    Coasts:

    SCN5 1150
    Universal Joint 114,05
    Aluminium profile 1150,24
Corner Joints / Screws / Screw Plugs 248
    Internnal Connectors 200
    Screw Plug reduction 27,42
    Leveling Foot 107,7
    More Screws 168,6

    Where to buy :

Aluminium profile : Forseti Soluções (forsetisolucoes.com.br)
Rest of items: Mercado Livre Brasil - Frete Grátis no mesmo dia

The universal joint was the piece that I didn't find anywhere because I didn't know this piece. So, you need to mount one using pieces of car (Portuguese: Cruzeta / Flange) or buy on named "Junta Universal".

Great to see you have your rig moving :thumbs

LFS does not go for hyper real graphics so is great for VR, and was one of the earliest games to implement VR support.
