Hey there... i just wondering what the end switches on DIY DC Motor Actuators does ....

for the rotary gearbox lever motors there is no end switch as well ... .why do i need it for the atuator ones ?

the motor should stop at the right defined point in SMC3 right ?

so is it just fo safety ? so what happens at the end switch ? cutting power or just tells the software to stop the motor ?
