    Hey guys,
I'm looking to get a simulator... i'd love to get a 6dof but at $5k they're still a bit pricey. So i was looking for some feedback on a 3dof faceoff.

I've been looking at that YawVr egg ($1999) and the DOFreality P3 ($2699)

I've always been into racing, specifically Rally racing but haven't raced in probably a decade which is sad but it's life. However, i feel like the P3 will limit my gameplay to car, planes, helicopter type games where as the egg would open but for more options.

The main drawback i was seeing was that the egg doesn't really seem to move naturally for car racing games.

A little insight, i had a HTC Vive but tossed it for the Oculus Quest to get rid of the cables. And i have a PC rig made for gaming so that end of it isn't really a big deal. The main thing is the motion simulator and the controls but for all intents and purposes im just curious from everyone... Egg or No Egg? And why?

    Thoughts? Thanks in advance

In my view YawVR has an advantage in price and compactness, but the P3 will have far better motion cues, particularly for racing.

Traction Loss and yaw are 2 different forces, yaw pivots around a central point and TL pivots from a point near your feet. Yaw is prominent in helicopters, but limited in most other simulations situations, where it plays far less of a roll than traditional roll, pitch, surge, heave, sway and TL.

Well i would build my own:grin

All jokes aside i would go with the P3 But that’s because I only do a little flight siming, most of my time is spent on the track:thumbs
