I purchased a DOF Reality second hand and I'm finally getting time to set this thing up.

I followed the directions and when I get to the output testing portion it seems that when I slide the pitch bar I get roll and when I slide the roll bar I get pitch. Traction Loss is working fine. I haven't made it past that point yet, I spent an hour last night trying to see if I was missing something obvious.

It would help if you post pictures of your settings, it sounds like you have the Dir allocations in Axis Assignments messed up.

So why don't you just swap them?

I'm not comfortable at all with this software yet, it's brand new to me and I don't want to screw anything up.

We need the axis assingment page as well. The little orange (when checked)dir box controls the motor direction

My motors are mounted such that i need one in each direction for pitch and the same for roll. You willbeed to test whether on or off is correct. Id start by switching the boxesso the dir boxes in roll look like you pitch and vice versa. Also start with one effect first. Get the motion right there. Pitch surge and heave should look the same. Roll and sway will have one opposite

Fixed. I picked "P2" and output test had everything working correctly. Thanks everyone.

In Axis Settings the Dir boxes being checked orange or not defines which way each axis moves, this is the movement they should conform to in Output Testing: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/which-way-to-set-simtool-axis-movements.230/

Once you get that sorted take your time and work through and learn the steps to creating and refining a motion profile: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

It also helps if you start your own thread and post pictures of all of your settings.
