I am strongly considering buying either the DOF reality H3 or the P3. I am 6’ and weight 215lbs. Upon purchase I would likely use the system quite a bit until the fever wore off. A normal and realistic number of hours I would use are 0-12 hours a week. I don’t believe I have a need for the P3 but thinking into the future the P3 motors will probably last a lot longer than the H3 motors. My decision hinges on replacement cost and motor upgrade. Apparently the replacement cost (high) for the motors and access to vendor (limited with shipping cost) is high and difficult. Do I have a need for the P3 or is the H3 good enough as a starter? Can the H3 motors be upgraded to P3 motors in the future? Have any U.S. owners had a need to replace any motors? Given that import duties, tax (no vat), and mail restrictions are few in the U.S. in comparison to much of the world has anyone attempted and or replaced OEM motors with less expensive alternate motor manufacturer. I ask as I imagine the restrictions listed above are much more stringently enforced in Europe/Eastern Europe where the system is manufactured. However, I could be wrong on my assumption. Bottom line is can equivalent motors be acquired for less in the U.S.? Thanks.
