    same here !
I'm doing a proof of concept for my dc motors and a Velleman K8055 controller at the moment. So far i have burnt my fingers twice and stuffed one solder so bad i had to bridge the circuit with some extra wiring.

    Cheers

DIY is not as hard as you may think!! Im a complete NOOB

my suggestion is get a professionally made PCB (this is where i wetn wrong) and buy all the parts from the 1 shop and then slowly do it.

ive been making it for a couple of months. keep hitting walls with it and thinking i will never get it to work. but when you get past the problems its the best feeling in the world!

I havent finished yet. but i think if i would have got a professionally made PCB i would have been finished a couple of weeks ago!

give it a try! as long as you know how to solider you can do it. just take your time.
